The hard-hitting, behind the scenes documentary series has won 4 Royal Television Society awards, including 2 national titles. Originally broadcast on ITV, the programme moved to BBC in 2004 with PDi continuing as the show’s independent producers. The fly-on-the-wall footage in dressing rooms and among the fans has given the show a huge cult following.

PDi’s association with Manchester United goes back to 1995, since when they have produced over 100 official DVD and video titles for the club. Best sellers include “The Treble”, “Champions of Europe”, “The Official History”, “George Best – Genius, Maverick, Legend” and “Au Revoir Cantona”.

PDi have produced a series of DVDs as part of Arsenal’s highly-acclaimed Membership package for their supporters. As well as providing the programme content, PDi have created the DVD authoring and designs, and replicated and packaged the finished product.

Commissioned directly by Arsenal FC, PDi have made several films promoting the club’s state of the art Emirates Stadium. These include a short film with CGI graphics of the new stadium (in association with architects Miller Hare); plus a comprehensive Information DVD about Emirates Stadium which was sent out to 65,000 supporters in advance of the 2006/07 season.

Commissioned by specialist museum designers Mather and Co. PDi produced 10 audio-visual sequences for the Arsenal Museum at Emirates Stadium. Each film represented a different facet of the club’s rich history and each had its own unique specification.

“The Highbury Years” released in autumn 2006 looks back at the club’s 93 year history at the ground. Devised, filmed, edited, written and produced over an 18-month period and in close co-operation with Arsenal, the programme includes interviews with Arsene Wenger, Thierry Henry, Ian Wright, Matt Lucas, Alan Davies and Lord Melvyn Bragg.

PDi have produced Arsenal’s official DVDs since 2002. Other titles include “The Official History”, “The Untouchables”, “49 The Complete Unbeaten Record” and “501 Goals – presented by Dermot O’Leary”.

“The Kop 100” DVD was released to coincide with the centenary celebrations of football’s most famous vantage point, The Kop at Anfield. The show was a mix of archive footage, freshly-shot interviews and eye-catching graphics counting down the top 100 magical moments.

PDi have produced Liverpool’s official DVDs and videos since 1995 and are responsible for the best-selling titles “Champions of Europe”, “The Treble” and “The Official History” As with all their DVD productions, PDi not only produced the programmes but also designed and authored the discs.

An exclusive behind the scenes look at the life of Liverpool and England star Steven Gerrard. In this revealing documentary the Reds captain spoke candidly about his childhood, his family life, and the ups and downs of his career at Anfield.

PDi provided the DVD content for Liverpool’s hugely popular Supporters Club package. This involved devising the concept and the content of the seven films featured on the DVD. Production work involved filming, scripting, editing and designing the finished programme. PDi also designed the sleeve and replicated the finished disc.

PDi provided the big screen animations for the 2006 Carling Cup Final between Manchester United and Wigan Athletic. For this showpiece occasion the brief was to provide a visually impressive sequence for team line ups, pre-match competitions and post-match congratulations messages.

PDi produced, replicated, marketed and distributed this three and a half hour double disc DVD review of the engage Super League Season. It is the first official RFL release delivered by PDi and will be followed by future titles to build on this successful start. The DVD has been supported by a nationwide advertising campaign orchestrated by PDi.

PDi have been the official video and DVD producer for West Bromwich Albion FC since 2003. The club is provided with a complete service from programme conception to delivery of the finished disc to retail outlets across the country.

PDi are currently the official DVD producers for six Premiership and Championship clubs. The work for Leicester City involves a full package involving programme making, DVD design and authoring, replication and packaging and finally distribution.

PDi have provided Outside Broadcast coverage for numerous football clubs and broadcasters. Coverage ranges from simple 2 and 3 camera operations to much larger OBs incorporating up to 8-camera coverage. Clients have included Liverpool FC, West Bromwich Albion FC, ITV, BBC and Channel 5.

PDi have worked with a huge variety of clients to meet a wide spectrum of demands. Other projects have included production of Barbara Currie’s Power Packed Yoga DVD for Granada Ventures; Green & Red a six-part TV series for Irish broadcaster RTE; DVD authoring and design for Newcastle United FC – and many, many others.
